Albino Eluterio Guerra

Alton - Albino Eluterio Guerra, 94, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance of Edinburg. Albino was born April 18, 1922 in San Carlos Ranch, TX. He is the son of the late Florencio and the late Sara (Saenz) Guerra. He was a veteran of the US Army, proudly serving in France during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife: Esperanza Gonzalez De Guerra on 3/21/2009.

He is survived by three children: Dr. Jose Arturo and wife Cynthia Guerra of New Jersey, Dr. Mario and wife Sonia Guerra of Mission and Elizabeth and husband Salvador Martinez of Alton; one sister: Sarita Gonzalez of Rio Grande City; four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, June 6, 2016 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Christian Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
