Amelia Canales Obituary

Bishop - Amelia Canales, born on March 10, 1943 to Donaciano and Paula Gonzalez, passed away on June 23, 2015 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Canales; siblings: Eutimio Gonzalez, San Juana Ortega and Manuela Gonzalez.

She is survived by two sons: Roberto Cristoval Canales (Maria D.) of Mission and Wally Canales (Isela) of Bishop; siblings: Maria Herrera, Hermana Contreras, San Juanita Garcia and Donaciano Gonzalez; three grandchildren: Christopher Robert Canales, Wally Rey Canales and Daniel Lee Canales.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Mission.
