McAllen - Ana Casimira Torres, 93, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at Briarcliff Nursing Center of McAllen. Ana was born March 4, 1922 in Mexico. She is the daughter of the late Mercer and the late Julia (Perez) Flores. She is preceded in death by Israel Torres and Maria Elida Torres.
She is survived by five children: Roberto Torres of McAllen, Andreita Cantu of McAllen, Irma Torres De Garza of Reynosa, Norma Flores of McAllen and Maricela Torres of Dickinson, IL; two brothers: Santiago Flores of Harlingen and Ramiro Flores of Austin; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2015 with a prayer service being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
