Edinburg - Arturo Requeñez, 66, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Valley Regional Medical Center of Brownsville. Arturo was born March 16, 1949. He is preceded in death by his father: Raul Requeñez.
He is survived by his mother: Mariana Avila Requeñez; son: Arturo Requeñez (Denisha); daughter: Naida Ramsey (Justin); three sisters: Anita Garza (Gilberto) Anabel Mata (Daniel) and Aurora Magallan (Noe); brother: Andres Requeñez; and three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, October 1, 2015 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 2, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Edinburg. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
