Blanca A. Cortez entered eternal rest on Friday, May 25,2018 at the Mission Regional Hospital at the age of 68 yrs. Blanca was born on July 19, 1949 in Mexico to Francisco and Bertha (Karam) Maldonado. Blanca had been a resident of McAllen for many years.
Blanca is survived by her husband Mr. Arturo Cortez; two children Bertha A. Ibarra and Mario A. Cortez; Siblings- Maria Maldonado, San Juana Maldonado, Jesus Maldonado, Javier Maldonado, Carlos Maldonado, and Hector Maldonado.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Rivera Funeral Home,1910 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at Valley Memorial cemetery in Mission.
