McAllen - Cecilia D. Gonzalez, 91, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at home in McAllen. Cecilia was born July 5, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA. She is the daughter of the late Rogue and the late Tomasa (Vargas) Delgado. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reynaldo Moreno Gonzalez on 6/7/2015.

She is survived by one daughter: Joann Armendarez; two sons, Gilberto Gonzalez and Reynaldo "Rey" Gonzalez Jr.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2016, with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 9:30 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at 11:00 am at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
