Consuelo Rodriguez Obituary
San Juan - Consuelo Rodriguez, 76, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance of Edinburg. Consuelo was born December 23, 1939 in Coahuila, Mexico. She is the daughter of the late Macario and the late Josefina (Benites) Torrez.
She is survived by a son: Ruben Rodriguez of Houston; five daughters: Sylvia (Dwayne) Stillwell of San Juan, Sandra (Lawrence) Williams of Shreveport, LA, Sonia Gamboa of San Juan, Zoila Pena of San Juan and Zulema Rodriguez of San Juan; three brothers: Ascencio Torres of San Juan, Juan Torres of California and Roberto Torres of Edinburg; two sisters: Maria Isabel Torres Garcia of McAllen and Enedelia Cerda of Houston; 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 17, 2016 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
