Damaso Galvan Obituary

Damaso Galvan, 75, went to be with The Lord Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in McAllen. He was born on May 3, 1942 in Cruillas, Tamaulipas to the late Rodolfo Galvan and Trinidad Garcia Galvan.

Damaso is survived by his loving wife: Genoveva Ibarra; children: Aroldo Galvan, Elizabeth Garza, Nora Salinas, Ofelia De Leon, Mary Tarbutton, Adriana Rivera, Arnoldo Galvan, Carlos Galvan and Osbaldo Galvan; siblings: Antonia Salinas, Jesus Galvan and Meliton Galvan; as well as 29 Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will then follow to Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission, Tx. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
