McALLEN a€" Our beloved mother Dominga T. Ramirez was sent to our Lord on April 4, 2015. She worked at McAllen Medical Center in the Laboratory department for 35 years in housekeeping. She was a very energetic and charismatic human being who always helped others in need. She loved music and dancing as she would attend Monte Carlo Ballroom every Sunday with our father. Our mother was diagnosed to stomach Cancer in August 2014 and lost her battle on April 4, 2015 surrounded by her children, grandchildren and close family members. Our mother will remain in our hearts and memories forever.

She is survived by her husband: Juan Alfonso Ramirez; children: Rebecca R. (Rene) Gonzalez, Virginia R. (Juan Angel) Cantu, Carolina Ramirez, Carlos (Cynthia) Ramirez, Alfredo Ramirez, Hector (Maria Mirtala) Ramirez and Marissa Ramirez. She is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters, 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
