Evangelina Fernandez Obituary
McAllen - Evangelina Fernandez, 97, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Village Care Nursing Home of McAllen. Evangelina was born April 17, 1917 in Linares, Mexico. She is the daughter of the late Jose and the late Guadalupe (Mena) Fernandez.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am Friday, January 23, 2015 at Our Lady Of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1108 W. Hackberry Ave., McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
