Eve Black

Eve Black went to be with the Lord and her late husband Randy Black on February 16, 2018. She was born in Edinburg, Texas to Librada Perez on January 19, 1954 and was the oldest of four siblings. Eve graduated from Edinburg High School in 1973 and then graduated from Apollo College in Arizona as a respiratory Therapist. She dedicated her life to helping newborns in the NICU at McAllen Medical Center for many years. Eve had a love for music, dancing, and most of all her family who she loved dearly. Her smile and caring demeanor could light up a room and she was always quick to help those in need. Eve is survived by her son Ryan Black, his wife Monica, their four daughters Lily Cavazos, Mallory,Shelby, and Kelly Black. Eve is also survived by her mother Librada Perez, siblings Lino Perez, Edelia Shirley, Gumaro Perez, many aunts, uncles,cousins,nieces, and nephews. 

Family and friends of Eve Black are invited for a gathering at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen on Saturday February 24, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and a prayer service to begin at 6:30 pm
