McAllen - Gervasio C. Osornio, 77, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at McAllen Nursing Center. Gervasio was born June 19, 1939 in Mexico. He is the son of the late Gonzalo and the late Paula (Cabrera) Osornio.

He is survived by his wife: Josefina Tamez; children, grandchildren and siblings.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, June 23, 2016 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 am Friday, June 24, 2016 at Our Lady Of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment services will be held in Santa Catalina, Guanajuato, Mexico.
