McAllen - Gilberto Moreno, 37, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Solara Hospital Of McAllen. Mr. Moreno was born September 27, 1976 in Elgin, IL. He is the son of Adan and Oralia Moreno (Ponce) Moreno, Sr..

He is survived by his parents: Adan and Oralia Moreno (Ponce) Moreno, Sr.; two sisters: Maryjane Moreno and Blanca Estela Noriega; four brothers: Jose Oscar Bazan, Adan Moreno, Jr., Mario Moreno and Benigno Moreno.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, August 18, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Cremation will follow.
