Guadalupe Ollervidez Obituary
Edinburg - Guadalupe "Walley" Ollervidez, 91, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born October 10, 1922 in Weslaco, Texas he lived in Edinburg most of his life. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg and Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle - National Shrine in San Juan, Texas. He was preceed in death by his father Teofilo Ollervidez and a brother, Marcelino Okllervidez.
He is survived by his loving famiy; setp-mother: Rosa maria Ollervidez; sister: Susana Rubio; Nephew: Damion Blue Rubio; brother: Gerardo Luis Ollervidez of Edinburg; sisters: Juanita Jalomo and Maria Flores both of Indio, California; Olivia Villarreal of Mission, Esperanza Kirkpatrick of Harlingen and Nelda Ollervides of Edinburg; 17 grandnieces and nephews and 20 great-grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, June 30, 2014 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at El Carmen Cemetery on Brushline Rd in Edinburg. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
