McAllen - Guadalupe Ortega, 89, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Guadalupe was born December 7, 1925.

She is survived by her Children: Velia Ramirez, Virginia Rojas, Juanita Oredain, Aurora Martinez, Lupita Martinez, Norma Hernandez; Brother: Reymundo Sanchez, as well as 26 Grandchildren.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will dearly missed by all.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, June 9, 2015 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at San Juan Diego Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
