Mission - Guillermo Alvarez, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his residence. He was born Friday, June 25, 1943 in Puebla, Mexico. He is the son of the late Elijio and Hermelinda (Hernandez) Alvarez. He is preceded in death by his father; sister: Eloisa Salas de Guzman and brother: Sabino Salas.
He is survived by his wife: Rosemary Alvarez; his mother: Hermelinda H. Salas; his children: Clifton Davis, Linda Aboyotes, Victoria Mejia Alvarez, Myra Vanessa Alvarez, Roxanne Kayode and Rebecca Alvarez; brothers and sister: Oscar Alvarez, Yvonne Salas, Blanca Estella Salas and Yadir Salas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, December 22, 2017 with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission.
