Mission - Jaime Medrando-Rojas, 46, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Mission Regional Medical Center. Jaime was born July 25, 1968 in Matamoros, Mexico. He is the son of the late Salvador and Maria (Rojas) Medrando.

He is survived by his wife: Piedad (Landaverde) Medrando; three children: Blanca Medrano, Histlay Medrano Hazael and Hector Maldonado; his mother: Maria (Rojas) Medrando; four sisters: Margarita Medrano, Mercedes Medrano, Rosalva Medrano and Perla Medrano; one brother: Rogelio Medrano; four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home, L.L.C. in Mission. A Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 12, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home L.L.C. in Mission. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
