Johnny Galan Obituary

McAllen - Johnny V. Galan, 83, passed away on Monday March 20, 2017 at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born on Thursday April 13, 1933 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents: Melecio Galan and Carmen (Valdez) Galan Castillo.

Survivors include two daughters: Yolanda (Galan) and Jorge Osorio and Lorine (Galan) and Johnny de la Garza; two sons: Jesse Galan and Joel and Paula Galan; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 with a prayer of the Holy Rosary being recited at 5:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Mission.
