ALTON a€" Jorge Arnoldo Montero, 37, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at home in Alton. Jorge was born April 7, 1977 in Mission, Texas.
He is survived by his parents: Nicolas Echartea and Aurelia (Rodriguez) Echartea; one brother: Victor Echartea of South Bend, IN; one sister: Veronica Echartea of Elkhart, IN; step-brothers: Jaime Echartea of Abram, TX, David Echartea of Elkhart, IN and Nicolas Echartea, Jr. of Elkhart, IN.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2015 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Cremation will follow. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
