Lazaro "Larry" Hernandez

Mission - Lazaro "Larry" Hernandez, 51, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Mission Hospital. He was the son of the late Eduardo and Irene G. Hernandez. He is also preceded in death by his brother: Ernesto Hernandez.

Larry is survived by his wife: Sonia Cantu; their children:Samantha Marie Hernandez and Lazaro Hernandez Jr.; siblings: Eduardo (Norma) Hernandez Jr., Emilio(Ester) Hernandez, Eloy (Yolanda) Hernandez, Sandra (Leo) Martinez, Diana (Lorenzo) Mendiola, Israel (a€ Tina) Hernandez, Elizabeth (Edelmiro) Alcoser, Erica (Hugo) Garcia and Esmeralda (Narciso) Solis.

Larry was a loving husband, an amazing father, a caring brother and a true friend to many. He loved his family dearly and he worked hard to provide for them. His passion was spending time with family BBQ'ing and making unerasable memories. His passion for work and his strong work ethic allowed him to gain remarkable friends and co-workers. His legacy will live on through the love he left behind in every heart that he touched. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Visitiation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary being held at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at L&I Cemetery in Palmview.
