Maria Betances Obituary

Mission - Maria Betances, 83, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at Mission Nursing And Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by two sons: Ramon Tavarez of Dominican Republic and Manuel Tavarez of New York; three daughters: Ruth Ramsoondar of Mission, Candida Perez of Edinburg and Ramona E. Othman of New York; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday, November 2, 2015 with a chapel service starting at 2:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens of Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafunealhomes.net
