Marie Iliana Guevara

Marie Iliana Guevara, 36, went to be with The Lord on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Mission, Texas. She was born on January 1, 1981 in McAllen, Texas.
Marie is survived by her loving husband: Israel Guevara; parents: Francisco Garcia and Guadalupe Pulido; step-children: Rachel Ann Guevara, Genevie Guevara, Destiny Guevara and Israel Guevara, Jr.; siblings: Heriberto Garcia, Benigna E. Carcano, Francisco O. Garcia, Cynthia M. Yepez, Nelly Garcia, Esmeralda Garcia and Ernesto Garcia.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day- and not only to me, but also to all that have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4: 7-8
She was feisty, full of life, love, hope and faith. Marie was our rock and our diamond. Now she shines bright in Heaven until we see each other again. We love you always.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 4, 2017 at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Cremation will follow. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
