McAllen - Mario Anzaldua, 49, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at McAllen Medical Center. Mario was born October 13, 1965 in Relampago, Texas. He is the son of the late Alejandro and Olivia (Moncada) Anzaldua.
He is survived by his wife: Cecilia Nava; five children: Mayra Anzaldua, Mario Anzaldua, Jr., Deborah Navejar, Cynthia Gonzalez and Melinda Navejar; his mother: Olivia (Moncada) Anzaldua; brothers and sisters: Emilio Ruiz, Miguel Ruiz, David Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Maria Ruiz, Rosa Linda Ruiz Beltran, Armando Anzaldua, Noe Anzaldua, Ismael Anzaldua and Ezequiel Anzaldua; ten grandchildren: Leyla Annai Renteria, Yasmeen Gonzalez, Angelica Gonzalez, Jessica Gonzalez, Mario Gonzalez, Noah Mendiola, Kayla Mendiola, Amber Mendiola, Nathaniel Mendiola and Joseph Mendiola.
Visitations will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Rivera Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Mission. Funeral Service will be held at held 10:00 am Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Rivera Funeral Home L.L.C. of Mission. Interment will follow at Granjeno Cemetery in Garnjeno. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
