Miguel Menchaca Obituary

McAllen - Miguel Menchaca, 85, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Doctors Hospital At Renaissance of Edinburg. Miguel was born September 29, 1931 in Mexico. He is the son of the late Asencion and the late Ana Maria (Perez) Menchaca.

He is survived by his wife: Dionicia (De La Torre) Menchaca; his children: Luis Menchaca, Juan Menchaca, Ana Elvia Menchaca, Sylvia Menchaca and Miguel Menchaca; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by two sons: Angel Menchaca and Joel Menchaca; his parents; Ascencion and Ana Maria (Perez) Menchaca; brothers and sisters: Francisco Menchaca, Pedro Menchaca, Irene Menchaca, Manuela Menchaca and Isabel Menchaca.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, February 20, 2017 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Rivera Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
