Weslaco - Nieves Castrellon, 84, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Aurora House Foundation of Weslaco. Nieves was born August 5, 1932 in Lityle, TX. She is the daughter of the late Francisco and the late Luz (Rodriguez) Torres.

She is survived by her children: Maria Luisa Duran, Jose Luis Castrellon, Maria Guadalupe Castrellon, Armando Castrellon, Irene Castillo and Jesus Castrellon; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two daughters: Maria Elena Rojas and Sylvia Ochoa.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2017 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
