Donna- Nolberta Hernandez,85, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at her residence in Donna. Nolberta was born July 6, 1928 to the late Juan and Dolores (Carrillo) Garcia. She is preceded in death by her husband: Isabel Hernandez and two daughters: Yolanda Hernandez and Clementa Hernandez.

She is survived by six daughters: Sandra Hernandez, Jacinta Hernandez, Emma Longoria, Alicia Del Toro, Dora Elia Hernandez Olga Lidia Hernandez; four sons: Alfredo Hernandez, , Marcelino Hernandez; Jose Luis Hernandez; and Isabel Hernandez Jr. As well as numerous other relatives and friends who are left to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held Monday June 23, 2014 from 1:00pm-9:00pm at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. A Christian burial service will be held Tuesday June 24, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Interment will follow at Donna City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
