Ofelia Davila Obituary
Hargill - Ofelia Cuellar Davila, born on January 6, 1939 to Maria Concepcion Tijerina and Guadalupe Cuellar in China, Nuevo Leon, went to the Lord and entered eternal rest on February 26th, 2015 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Julio Davila.
She is survived by her sons and daughter, Marco Davila, Aurora "Prieta" Davila, Julio "Nandy" Davila, and Arnoldo "Nono" Davila, from Hargill, TX. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Ofelia was a strong, loving and caring woman who was an inspiration to all and was very well remembered by her beauty, fashion and home made cooking. She dedicated her life caring for her family.
Family will receive friends on Monday, March 1st, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cabirini Catholic Church in Hargill, Texas on Tuesday, March 2, 2015 at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at Valle de la Paz Cemetery in Hargill. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
