Rita Velez Obituary

Mission - Rita Oralia Velez, 64, passed away Wed., Nov. 23, 2016 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Rita was born May 22, 1053 in Mexico. She is the daughter of the late Nicolas and the late Leonor (Rodriguez) Velez.

She is survived by her daughter: Rita Oralia (Kyle "Bo") Spann; five sisters: Maria, Cristina, Maria de la Luz, Rosa and Ester; one brother: Eliezer.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday, November 28, 2016 with rosary being recited at 10:00 am and a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
