Rogerio Villarreal Obituary
McAllen - Rogerio Villarreal, 83, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at his residence in McAllen. Rogerio was born in Harlingen and graduated from Harlingen High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents: Juan and Elena (Salazar) Villarreal.
He is survived by his loving wife: Susana (Anaya) Villarreal; sons: Roy (Ada) Villarreal and Juan (Carmen) Villarreal; brother: Eustorgio Villarreal; and his grandchildren: Roy, Vicente Anselmo, Idalis and Juan Donovan.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 25, 2014 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by V.F.W. Post 8788. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
