McAllen - Severo Villarreal, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance of Edinburg. Severo was born January 5, 1934. He is the son of the late Jose C. and the late Natividad (Sanchez) Villarreal.
He is survived by his wife: Lilia (Villarreal) Villarreal; five children: Delia Villarreal, Omar Villarreal (Magda), Norma Villarreal, Nellie Garza (Jose) and Karla Garces (Miguel); two sisters: Maria Guadalupe Villarreal and Rosalinda Villarreal; six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, June 20, 2014 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Cremation will follow. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
