MISSION - Susana (Susie) Cantu, 54, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Mission Hospital. Susie was born August 11, 1961 in Mission, TX. She is the daughter of a€ Justo and Maria (Martinez) Cantu.
Susie is survived by her mother Maria (Martinez) Cantu; siblings: Ismael (Elena) Cantu, Selma (Joel) Cantu, Sonia (Larry) Hernandez, Sarita Hooks, Sulema (Reuben) Farias, Sandra (Gerardo) Garcia and Samuel (Christina) Cantu.
She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all. Her passion and joy was baking, arts & crafts, and most of all caring for all of her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Monday, April 11, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Jonathan Isirdo, Reuben Omar Farias, Daniel Martinez, Ismael Cantu Jr. and Guillermo Martinez.
