McAllen - Tomasita Garcia, 94, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her residence in McAllen. Tomasita was born December 4, 1921 in Salineño, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Fidel and the late Sara (Gonzalez) Garcia. She was preceded in death by five siblings: Olivia, Oscar, Fidel Jr., Maria Luisa, and Alfredo Garcia.
She is survived by one sister, Zulema G. Castañeda of McAllen and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Holy Spirit Church in McAllen. As an expression of sympathy, the gift of your time and presence will be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
