It is with a deep sense of loss and enduring respect that we announce the passing of Jong Il Shin, more well known as John. Born on April 20, in South Korea, John led a life of ambition, dedication, and joy before passing away peacefully on March 21, 2024, in McAllen, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a respected figure in the business world. John's journey began in South Korea, where the foundation for his future successes was laid. His determining spirit led him to the shores of the United States, where he would go on to make his indelible mark. In McAllen, Texas, he established his home and became a pillar of the community.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Jin Hee, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. He was a proud father to his children, Christopher, Jane, Sharon, and Solomon, who each carry a part of his legacy.

Funeral Services will be held at the Rivera Funeral Homes at 1901 Pecan Blvd, McAllen, Texas on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 4:00pm - 6:30pm
