Aida Sandoval Martinez

San Antonio - Aida Sandoval Martinez, 77, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Aida was born on April 13, 1941 in Banquete, Texas to Benita and Daniel Sandoval. She was a former resident of San Juan, Texas and a resident of San Antonio for the past 30 years. She enjoyed gambling, baking, cooking, shopping and traveling.     

Aida was a beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend who truly lived life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Domingo Martinez; her siblings: Oralia, Roel, Cesar, Irma and Tome.

Left to cherish her memory are her son: Arnold Martinez; her companion: Rene C. Lopez; her two step-daughters: Mauricia and Gloria Lopez; her grandchildren: Samantha, Domingo and Joshua; two great-grandchildren: Eliana and Ezequiel.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
