McAllen, TX – Alfonso “Bebe” Flores went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2018 after a short illness.  He was a beloved husband, father, grand-father, brother and friend. He was a long-time resident and businessman of McAllen, Texas.  

He was preceded in death by his grand-daughter, Jade Monnique Posas; his parents, Alfonso and Manuela Flores; three brothers, Rene, Rodrigo, and Ruben Flores.

He is survived by his wife, Olga Flores; three children, Jeannie (Jose) Marroquin, Ricardo (Leticia) Flores, John “J” (Norma) Flores, and Dr. Ricardo (Kelly) Vega; six grand-children, Jennifer Michelle Posas, Crista Bella Flores, Alfonso Ricardo Flores II, John David Flores II, Lucas Vega, and Eva Vega; brother, Judge Jose Roberto “Bobby” Flores; sister, Flora Echeverria.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen, Texas.  Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McAllen.  Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in McAllen.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
