Cipriano Castillo, Jr.

Alamo - Cipriano Castillo, Jr., 55, entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the MD Anderson Hospital in Houston. Cipriano was born on Tuesday, February 18, 1964 in Weslaco, Texas to Cipriano and Concepcion (Perez) Castillo. He lived in Alamo for most of his life. He worked at STC for the past five years. Cipriano was a volunteer with the Alamo Fire Department for 9 years. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his only grandson Caleb. Cipriano would call anyone he would meet, his buddy. He was very friendly and he was known by everybody. Cipriano was a big time Dallas Cowboys fan. He truly lived life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Margarita Castillo; his children: Christopher James, Erick Anthony, and Mathew Jacob; his siblings: Raul, Homer, Marisela, Zeferino, Daniel, and Dalia C. Gracia; his one grandson: Caleb Jeremiah Castillo.

Gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan in McAllen from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, January 10, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Cremation services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
