Domingo (Jr.) Sotelo

Domingo Sotelo, Jr., 78, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Edinburg, Tx. Domingo was born on March 7, 1940 in McAllen, Tx. to the late Domingo and Adelaida Sotelo. He is preceded in death by his brother: Jose Angel (Estella) Sotelo. 

Domingo is survived by his Wife: Gloria Sotelo; Children: Christina Sotelo, Monica Sotelo, Consuelo Loya (Javier) Garza, Salvador Loya and Gregorio (Angela) Medina; Siblings: Angelica (Alfredo) Cantu, Rosario (Mike†) Vega, Maria Alicia Luongo, Oscar (Rosie) Sotelo and Elida "Connie" (Genaro) Garcia; Grandchildren: Brittany (Eli) Bratton, Brianna Salinas, Bianka Salinas, Victoria Cantu, Michael Cantu, Joey Deleon, Aaralyn Medina, Jennifer Deleon, Yanessi Medina, Mrendon Medina, Stelina Loya, Micaela Loya and Michael Loya; as well as 1 Great Grandchild. 

Domingo, also known as: "El Diablo" loved spending quality time with his family, he enjoyed the outdoors, loved to BBQ and loved telling childhood stories . He enjoyed football games, hunting and fishing in his younger years. Domingo will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.  Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Monday, December 31 2018 at 11:30 am. Cremation will then follow. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
