Enedina Gonzalez,70, entered eternal rest  Wednesday, October 09, 2019 surrounded by her family at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Enedina was born March 14, 1949 in McAllen to Jose Eusebio and Concepcion Loza. Enedina was a life long resident of McAllen and a  graduate of McAllen High School, Class of 1967. Enedina worked for McAllen ISD for 25 years. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. 

Enedina was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband Gonzalo Gonzalez, her sister and brother in law Belinda and Frank Lugo and her sister Norma Linda Loza. 

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family- Daughter Amy Jo Gonzalez (Jorge Contreras) , Daughter Michelle Gonzalez-Prukop, Sonia Sanchez (Jorge), and Xavier Gonzalez   her grandson Milo Contreras, her granddaughter- Zomari Contreras; Siblings- Sylvia Barreiro (Ramon), Virginia Aguilera (Enrique), Sandra Gomez (Johnny), Judy Loza-Garcia (Rey), Debra Baez (Martin), Joel Loza, Richard Loza, Arturo Loza (Dora), Jose Eusebio Jr. Loza (Belinda), extended family including numerous of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan in McAllen from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Celebration of life service will be Friday, October 11, 2019 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
