Guadalupe Acosta

Mr. Guadalupe Acosta entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 surrounded by his family in McAllen. Mr Acosta was born on July 17, 1935 in Mexico to Maurilio and Silvina Acosta.

Guadalupe was a resident of Mission for many years. Guadalupe enjoyed harvesting all types and fruits and vegetables including Cilantro, Nopales, Oranges, and limes. His favorite was "Savila". 

Guadalupe was preceded in death by his wife Carmela Acosta , his son Rolando Acosta and all his siblings. Guadalupe is survived by his children; Flora Pratti, Lourdes Banda, Martin Acosta , Jose Luis Acosta; nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM followed by a celebration of life service at 7:00 PM

Cremation service will follow at a later time.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
