Jose Medina Morado

McAllen ~ Jose Medina Morado, 71, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on Saturday, September 25, 1948 in Hargill, Texas the son of Nemorio and Silvestra (Medina) Morado. Jose enjoyed the outdoors, barbecuing, music, Las Vegas and traveling. His favorite place was Yosemite National Park. He was a long time resident of McAllen.   

He is survived by his wife: Olga Morado; his children: Jose Morado, Jr., Maribel Morado, Marco Antonio Morado, David Morado, and Israel Morado; his siblings: Erasmo Morado, Maria Elena Morado and Marta Sofia Ortega 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.                     

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, January 8, 2020 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
