Macrina Martinez

McAllen - Macrina Martinez, 87, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Arbor View Nursing Center in Edinburg. She was born on Friday, April 24, 1931 in Doctor Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of the late Encarnacion and the late Victoria (Garcia) Palomo.

She is survived by her children: Daniel Martinez, Enrique Martinez, Victor Fernando Martinez, Julio Alberto Martinez, Dolores del Carmen Guzman and Macrina I. Martinez; sisters: Hortencia Palomo de Briones, Victorina Palomo de Delgado, Modesta Palomo de Garcia and Altagracia Palomo de Garcia; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2019 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Cremation will follow. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
