Manuel Ruiz

McAllen - Mr. Manuel Ruiz Morales, 88, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 11, 2019 surrounded by his family at Rio Grande Regional Hospital of McAllen. Manuel was born on November 16, 1930 in Jalisco, Mexico to Transito and Maria (Morales) Ruiz. He had lived in McAllen for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents and other family members.

He is survived by his wife: Tomasa Lopez Ruiz Martinez; his children: Manuel Ruiz, Maria Elena Ruiz, Yolanda Ruiz, Anabertha Ruiz and Selene Ruiz; and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, February 13, 2019 with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
