Mission - Maria Alejandra Puente, 63, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She was born on Thursday November 17, 1955 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Reyes and Francisca Quiroz.
She is survived by five children: Efrain Ibarra, Jr., Erica Rodriguez, Shelly Garcia, Gladys Barrios and Ricardo Puente, Jr.; four siblings: Jose Segovia, Ramona Reyna, Socorro Gonzalez and Reyes Espinoza; 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm at Palmview Apostolic Assembly, 605 Leal Dr. in Palmview. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2 1/2 Miles S. Conway Ave. , Mission. Interment will follow at Lord and I Cemetery, 1203 E. Goodwin Rd, Palmview. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
