Mr. Ramon Favata, Jr. entered eternal rest Wednesday, September 25, 2019 surrounded by his family at the McAllen Medical Hospital in McAllen. Ramon was born on April 25, 1967 in Brownsville, Texas to Ramon† and Alicia (Jasso) Favata. Ramon Jr. had lived in Pharr for most of his life. Recently he had lived in McAllen. Ramon Jr., was a very noble man. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was full of life. Always providing for his children and family. Ramon loved collecting memorabilia from Star Wars Batman, W.W.E wrestlers, among others. He was also a big fan of the New England Patriots Football team. Ramon Favata Jr. truly lived life to its fullest. 

He was preceded in death by his father. Ramon is survived by his children- Kevin Favata, Jennifer Favata, Heather Favata, Eduardo Favata; Siblings- Maria Elizabeth Gonzalez, Eduardo Favata, Ricardo Favata, Patricia Favata; His mother- Alicia Jasso Favata; His beloved grandchild- Joshua Sandoval; Nieces and Nephews- Tony, Leslie, Eduardo Jr., Ashley, Alex, Joseph, Jovani, and Kassy.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, September 27, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Graveside service will be Monday, September 30, 2019 at Rose lawn Cemetery in McAllen at 11:00 AM.
