Elida Leal

McAllen, Texas - Elida Leal went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at the Mission Ridge Rehab and Nursing Center in Refugio, Texas at the age of 91. Elida was born on December 2,1925 in Mexico to Daniel and Isabel Rios. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings and two sons: Eugenia Leal, Jr. and Florentino Rene Leal. She was a long time resident of McAllen.

Elida is survived by her children: Elma N. Gracia and Jose David Leal; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, April 30, 2017 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, May 1, 2017 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
