Mrs. Hortencia R.Diaz,90, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 in McAllen surrounded by her family. She was born on October 28, 1927 in Mexico to Severiano and Benita Reyes. Hortencia was a long time resident of McAllen and past resident of California. She was a faithful servant to Jehova, a loving wife,mother,grandmother, sister and friend she will be dearly missed by her family. She was a supportive individual to all who came to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Pedro Diaz, three sons Candelario,Guadalupe,and Amado.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children; Pedro Diaz Jr.(Maria), Nancy Moreno (Ralph), Angelica Fernandez (Sergio); two siblings Margarito and Rumaldo Reyes' 22 grandchildren,42 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
Cremation services are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
