Irene Salinas

Mission - Irene Salinas, 48, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Doctors Hospital At Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born on Friday, July 17, 1970 in Pharr, the daughter of Domingo Jr. and Raquel (Garza) Salinas. Irene was a lifelong resident of Mission. She loved her grandchildren and was always the life of the party. Beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Nora Lee Camacho, Mary Anabel Ochoa and Arnoldo Ochoa, III; her parents: Domingo Salinas Jr. and Raquel (Garza) Salinas; brothers and sisters: Domingo Salinas, III, Noemi Salinas Forsythe, Gregorio Salinas, Perla Esmeralda Salinas, Jesse Angel Salinas, Erica Lizette Salinas, Jose Marcial Salinas, Artemio Salinas and Liomar Salinas; grandchildren: Jackqueline Iriz Camacho, Abram Camacho, Jr., Carol I. Garcia, Eliel T. Garcia and her husband Woodrow Meeks.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2018 with a prayer of the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at  10:00 am Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission.
