Luz Morin Obituary
McAllen - Mrs.Luz Morin, 96, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 10, 2018 surrounded by her family at her residence in McAllen. Luz was born on October 26, 1921 in McAllen to the late Feliciano and Juanita Arenas. She was preceded in death by her husband: Francisco Morin, Sr. and all of her siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Francisco Morin, Jr. and his wife Monica, Teresa Nava and her husband Jose, Francisca Paredes, Esperanza Baxley, Gloria Diaz and her husband Israel; 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Luz enjoyed caring for all of her grandchildren, she attended St. Joseph the Work Church for many years.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Rivera Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary starting at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church in McAllen. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. www.riverafuneralhomes.net
