Olga Luna

McAllen, Texas - Olga Luna, 71, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Olga was born on August 13, 1946 in Reynosa, Mexico to Juan and Victoria (Salinas) Tijerina. She was raised in Reynosa and lived in McAllen for most of her life. Olga enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to garden, cook and play bingo. Olga will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish Olga's memory is her husband: Mr. Jaime Luna; her daughter: Karina Luna; her son: Jaime Gilberto Luna, Jr.; her brother: Juan Antonio Tijerina (Magdalena); her grandchildren: Brianna Renee Lopez, Vivianne Aaliyah Lopez, Skyla Danney Lopez, Aaria Jadden Lopez, Miranda Victoria Luna and Isaac Alan Luna.

A gathering will take place on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 20, 2918 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
