Oralia Garza

Oralia Garza, 61, entered eternal rest on Thursday March 22, 2018 at the Amara Hospice Facility in Edinburg surrounded by her family. She was born on January 1, 1957 in McAllen, Texas to Victor Nazario and Eloisa Valdez. She was a resident of McAllen for most of her life. Oralia loved gardening and to be outside. She loved listening to music, loudly, she loved all her grand children and nieces and nephews. Oralia enjoyed and lived her life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 41 years: Abelardo Garza; her children: Roberto (Lisa) Garza, Ester (Jesse) Maldonado, Abel (Jackie) Garza and Amy (Eddie) Cruz; her siblings: Ninfa Tamez, Irma Luna, Rosa Ocanas, Minnie Valdez, Benny Valdez, Jaime Valdez, Janie De La Cruz, Victor Valdez, Aida Valdez and Jose Luis Valdez; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Viewing and gathering will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd. in McAllen.
